Screen Time, which was launched just a few weeks after the <a href=\"https:\/\/wellbeing.google\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Announcement<\/a> similar functions for Android devices through <a href=\"https:\/\/wellbeing.google\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google<\/a> was launched, includes activity reports, app limits and new \"do not disturb\" and notification controls, and is designed to help users \"better understand and control the time they spend on apps and websites, how often they pick up their iPhone during the day and how they receive notifications\".<br \/>\nIn the last few months <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statista.com\/topics\/847\/apple\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apple<\/a> and other phone manufacturers and social media companies to do their part to combat the growing problem of smartphone and internet overuse. While both Apple and Google have signalled that they are willing to take responsibility for this problem, consumers feel that they need to change their potentially unhealthy habits themselves.
