Courage to tell the truth in Neflental<\/h2>\n

Spring begins in the Neflental valley. New flowers are blooming everywhere. At the edge of the Emerald Ground, the grass is glowing. It looks as if someone has scattered gemstones on the ground, it is so green. Rosa Periwinkle walks along the path this morning. The wind is warm and the sun caresses her cheeks.<\/p>\n

Today she has an insecure feeling. She knows in her heart that she has to tell someone the truth today. But she is afraid to do so. Will a friend be angry? Will someone be sad? Rosa Periwinkle realises that honesty takes courage. And yet she knows: In Neflental, they say that the truth is like a key. It opens doors to new adventures and good friendships.<\/p>\n

The violet glade and the great secret<\/h2>\n

There is a wonderful clearing in the Neflental valley, the violet glade. Violets and crocuses grow here and the moss smells sweet. An old statue stands in the centre. It is covered in soft moss and the sun's rays make its eyes shimmer. Purple, yellow and green colours dance in the sunlight. Rosa Periwinkle walks towards the statue. She knows that this is where she often does her best thinking.<\/p>\n

She carries a small, round stone in her bag. She found it yesterday by the river and took it with her. She really wanted to keep it. But it actually belongs to Mino, her boyfriend, who has lost it. Mino has been looking for it all day. Many friends help him, but nobody finds the stone. Only Rosa knows where it is.<\/p>\n

The courage to tell the truth<\/h3>\n

Rosa Periwinkle remembers what the white elves always say: \"Truth makes the heart light and the day bright.\" She sits down in the grass-green emerald ground and looks at the sparkling stone. It glitters in pearl white and leaf green.<\/p>\n

Then she hears voices. Mino and the other children come to the violet glade. They are still looking for the stone. Rosa hesitates. She clutches the stone tightly in her hand. What will happen if she says that she has taken it?<\/p>\n

She stands up and calls out: \"Mino? I have something to tell you.\" Her heart is pounding loudly because she knows that the truth is hard to say now. \"I found your stone. I was curious and kept it. I'm sorry. I wanted to be honest and no longer keep quiet.\"<\/p>\n

Mino looks surprised at first. Then he smiles. \"Thank you, Rosa. I'm glad you said it! It shows that you're brave and trust me.\" The other friends clap and rejoice with them. Nobody scolds them. They can see that Rosa is honest, even if it wasn't easy.<\/p>\n

Making the Neflental even brighter<\/h2>\n

The sun now shines even warmer over the emerald ground. The violet glade appears brighter. The violet, sun-yellow and leaf-green light radiates. Rosa Periwinkle feels much better. She knows that the courage to tell the truth makes friendships stronger. She laughs and plays with the others because her heart is light again.<\/p>\n

What do we learn from this?<\/h3>\n

Being honest sometimes requires courage. But it is better to tell the truth, as this creates trust and joy. Even if we have made a mistake, we can admit it and learn from it. In Neflental, Rosa Immergr\u00fcn shows that the truth makes the world a more colourful and beautiful place.<\/p>\n
