Above all, it means building resilience that enables managers to deal with challenges more calmly. Self-management, physical fitness and conscious work organisation play a central role in this. Successful managers focus on preventative measures and create structures that reduce stress and at the same time promote performance. This also includes recognising your own limits and setting realistic goals.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Self-management as a cornerstone of stress management<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">An important part of stress management is the ability to manage oneself. Managers consciously observe their own behaviour, set themselves realistic goals and focus their attention on the positive. They reward themselves for milestones achieved and reorganise their work in such a way that stress factors are reduced.
