Many managers use mindfulness training to think more clearly, act more consciously and lead more authentically in everyday life. The practice helps to better manage stress and sharpen one's own perception. Mindfulness training not only promotes personal development, but also has a positive effect on the team. Those who use mindfulness training regularly often report greater calmness, clarity and empathy in their day-to-day work.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Why mindfulness training for managers?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Mindfulness training helps managers to become more aware of themselves and others. It helps to recognise automated reactions and make more conscious decisions. Many managers experience an improved ability to concentrate and greater emotional intelligence as a result of mindfulness training. They learn to look at situations from a new perspective and react flexibly to challenges. Mindfulness training is not a substitute for traditional leadership methods, but a useful addition to them.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Mindfulness training in everyday life: practical examples<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">A practical example: A manager starts the day with a short breathing exercise. She consciously recognises how her body feels and what thoughts are currently present. This gives her a more focussed start to the working day. Another example: before important meetings, she uses mindfulness training to help her to collect herself and be present. This enables her to respond better to the needs of her team. A third example: After stressful situations, she consciously reflects on how she reacted and what she could do differently. Mindfulness training helps her to learn from experience and develop further.<\/p>\n<p><b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;\"><i><br \/>\nBEST PRACTICE at company XYZ (name changed due to NDA contract)<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<\/i> <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Mindfulness training for managers was introduced in an international company. The participants practised conscious breathing for five minutes a day and reflected on their decisions in the evening. After three months, many reported greater clarity in dealing with conflicts and improved communication within the team. The managers felt less overwhelmed and were able to deal with challenges more calmly. The employees noticed that their managers had become more present and empathetic. The mindfulness training thus became an integral part of the corporate culture.<\/p>\n<p><i> <\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Mindfulness training and self-management<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Mindfulness training strengthens self-management. Mindfulness training helps to resolve conflicts constructively and build trust. Many managers report that their team becomes more motivated and creative when they actively promote mindfulness training.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">Mindfulness training: tips for getting started<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-family:verdana;text-align:left;\">If you want to try out mindfulness training, you can start with small steps. A short breathing exercise in the morning or conscious listening in conversations are good starting points. Mindfulness training can also be used in meetings or before important decisions.
