The term AI Ops (AIOps) is particularly at home in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, big data and smart data. AIOps stands for "Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations" and describes the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to monitor, analyse and automate IT processes.

With traditional tools, companies quickly reach their limits when it comes to monitoring and troubleshooting their IT systems because the amount of data is constantly increasing. With AI Ops (AIOps), intelligent systems automatically analyse huge amounts of data in real time, recognise patterns and suggest solutions in the event of faults.

An illustrative example: an online shop notices that its website is loading unusually slowly. Instead of an employee manually checking all the servers, an AIOps system recognises the load immediately, identifies the cause (e.g. a database overload) and immediately suggests measures - or even executes them automatically.

AIOps therefore helps companies to make their IT infrastructure more stable, faster and more efficient. This relieves the burden on skilled staff, saves costs and ensures satisfied customers.
