The term computational creativity belongs to the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and digital society.

Computational creativity describes the ability of computers to take on creative tasks that were previously reserved for humans. This means that with the help of artificial intelligence and algorithms, machines learn to independently create new ideas, solutions, works of art or even music.

An illustrative example: an AI such as ChatGPT can invent entire poems, advertising copy or new recipes at the touch of a button. In advertising, companies use so-called AI tools to automatically design creative campaigns. In music production, there is also software that independently composes new songs by learning from millions of existing songs.

Computational creativity ensures that routine activities and creative work become more efficient and versatile. At the same time, it opens up new opportunities for innovation in companies, marketing and even product development. Nevertheless, the control and collaboration of man and machine is still necessary so that the creatively generated results can be utilised in a meaningful way.
