Discover diversity in the Neflental
The story begins on a cold morning in the Neflental valley. The sun slowly rises over the mountains and bathes the Lichtglockental in a magnificent play of colours of white gold, light blue, smoky grey and amber. It is winter, and the snow glistens like gold dust on the meadows. Rosa Periwinkle wakes up and rubs her eyes sleepily. Today she has a special adventure ahead of her, because Rosa wants to find out how diversity makes the valley strong.
A special plan in the crystal gate
Rosa Periwinkle marches across the crunching snowfields and soon reaches the Crystal Gate. This large, sparkling quartz arch shines particularly brightly today and looks like an entrance to another world. A colourful group is already waiting there. The Evergreens are there, the Buchians pull their warming root shawls tighter. Even the Bergsteins have dared to come down from the heights. A few Flossians, who usually prefer to splash around in the water, have also arrived. The white elves fly silently through the clear air.
All the peoples of the Neflen valley meet here to solve a major problem: The ice on the small Sonnenbach stream has frozen so thickly that the fish can no longer get any oxygen. The animals and plants urgently need help! But each group has different ideas on how to solve the problem.
Together we are strong
At the Crystal Gate, the Bergsteins suggest breaking up the ice with their gemstone chisels. The Buchians want to drill small holes with their skilful root claws. The Flossians know of a special plant that can grow under the ice and revitalise the water. And the white elves want to organise a sun dance with magic so that the rays melt the snow.
But first they argue a little. Everyone thinks their suggestion is the best. Rosa Periwinkle listens to everything carefully and thinks it over. Then Rosa calls the groups together and suggests: "Why don't we try everything together? Each of us can do something that the others can't."
A great team in the crystal gate
Everyone quickly gets to work. The Bergsteins carefully cut notches in the ice. The Buchians drill small, round holes with their roots. The Flossians throw the special plants into the stream through these openings. Finally, the white elves dance in the winter air and lure the first rays of sunshine through the crystal gate. It glitters over the valley like a bell of light, and the ice begins to crack and melt.
The snow in the Lichtglockental now glistens even more beautifully. The little fish are swimming freely again. The evergreens cheer and everyone is happy.
What do we learn from this?
In the great winter of the Neflental, the peoples made it together. Rosa Immergrün now knows even more: diversity is strength. Everyone brings their own special skills to the table. In this way, great tasks can be mastered, even if there are disputes at first. That's why the Neflental is such a wonderful place. Because everyone can be who they are - together they become a great team.
