A new task in the Neflental
There is always something exciting to experience in the Neflental. One morning, Rosa Immergrün woke up and realised that today was going to be a special day. The sun bathed the fern meadows in a golden light and the mist hovered over the trees like a veil.
The lost gemstone
Someone was running around excitedly on the shore of the crystal lake. It was Lian, the little water gnome. He had lost one of his uncle's mysterious gemstones. The stone was very valuable and had to be found at all costs. Rosa Periwinkle heard Lian's loud cries and immediately ran to him.
"I'll help you, Lian!" said Rosa Periwinkle resolutely. The two of them searched everywhere. They looked under the large leaves, dived carefully into the lake and even rummaged through the tall ferns.
An important moment for Rosa Periwinkle
After a while, they saw a colourful glow at the edge of the meadow. Rosa Periwinkle's heart was beating wildly. The lost gemstone lay between two stones. But next to the stone was a beautiful, bright feather. Rosa Periwinkle liked it straight away. No one else was around. Rosa Periwinkle knew she had to make a decision now.
Should Rosa Periwinkle secretly pocket the feather? Or should she also take the feather to Lian so that everyone knows what she has found?
Be brave in the Neflental
Rosa Periwinkle remembered what the white elves always say: honesty makes you brave. She took a deep breath, picked up the gemstone and the feather and ran back to Lian.
"Look, Lian, I didn't just find your gemstone. There was also this feather right next to it. Do you know who it belongs to?"
Lian was beaming. He was happy to get his gem back. The feather belonged to the white elves. It had special powers and could not be lost. Lian thanked Rosa Periwinkle warmly. The two of them walked to the waterfall together and handed the feather to the white elves.
Why honesty is really cool in Neflental
The white elves praised Rosa Periwinkle for her honesty. They explained that sometimes it takes courage to tell the truth. But honesty leads to trust and friendship. The elves said: "Anyone who is honest and doesn't hide anything is a real role model for all the inhabitants of Neflental!" Rosa Periwinkle felt brave and happy. She had shown that she could act honestly - and that was really cool!
In the end, Rosa Periwinkle and Lian sat by the lake. They told the others about their adventure. Everyone in Neflental listened intently. Everyone learnt that honesty makes you brave and telling the truth simply feels good.
What do we learn from this?
Everyone in Neflental now knows that honesty makes you really strong. Being open helps everyone. It builds courage in the heart. And once you tell the truth, you are recognised and become a role model for your friends. Honesty really does make you brave!
