The term entertainment robot is particularly at home in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital society and robots. An entertainment robot is a specially developed robot designed to entertain people. Such robots can talk, dance, sing or play small games and are often used in households, at events or in leisure facilities.

In contrast to industrial robots, which perform heavy work, entertainment robots are mainly designed for fun and interaction with humans. They use sensors, cameras and sometimes even AI to react to people and respond to their wishes.

A well-known example of an entertainment robot is "Aibo", the robot dog. Aibo can bark, follow commands and even show emotions. People love him because he acts like a real pet, but doesn't have to replace a real dog.

Entertainment robots are becoming increasingly popular as they offer exciting experiences not only for children but also for adults. They show how robots enrich our daily lives and at the same time drive technological progress in the digital society.
