Ethical AI is a key term in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital society and cybersecurity. It describes the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in a way that corresponds to moral and social values. The aim is for AI systems to act fairly, transparently and responsibly so that no one is disadvantaged.

A common example of ethical AI is facial recognition. This technology can help in security areas, but also harbours the risk of certain groups being treated unfairly or monitored. Ethical AI ensures that such systems are designed in such a way that discrimination is avoided and clear rules restrict their use.

Companies rely on Ethical AI to ensure that their AI solutions are trustworthy and respect data protection. For example, customer data is anonymised so that private information remains protected.

Ethical AI is therefore more than just a technical issue: it is about AI benefiting people without causing harm. Companies that pay attention to ethical AI strengthen customer trust and build sustainable digital offerings.
