Saving the world with nature awareness in Neflental
Every day begins quietly in the Neflental valley. The sun caresses the sea of ferns in the fern meadows, while a gentle wind rustles through the huge green leaves. Today is a special day. Today, someone with an awareness of nature wants to save the world and become a real environmental hero.
Tomorrow in the fern meadows of Immergrün
Small wooden houses with woven walls are nestled between three metre high bracken ferns. Colourful herbs grow on every roof. Meadow gnomes frolic barefoot through the grass, while goats bleat and chickens cluck. Pink periwinkle creeps through the fresh dewy grass and watches the animals.
The fern meadows of Immergrün are a very special place. Here, people, animals and plants live together in peace. But even here you sometimes realise that not everything is always in balance. Small streams carry less water or unusual plants grow where they didn't before.
The dream weaver's path and the first adventure
In the early morning light, Rosa Immergrün takes a narrow path. It is the dream weaver's path. The path winds through a forest in which small balls of light float. They spread a soft glow in colours such as pearl grey, gold, midnight blue and opal. Nature whispers softly: Help us, environmental hero!
Rosa Periwinkle follows the balls of light. She sees that some bushes have lost their leaves. A bird can't find its nest because someone has broken off branches. Rosa Periwinkle thinks about it: What can I do to keep the Neflental healthy?
Saving the world with nature awareness: how to do it in everyday life
Rosa Periwinkle carefully collects the broken branches. She takes them to the bushes and gently tucks them into the ground. This creates new shelter for the animals. Rosa Periwinkle doesn't pick too many herbs along the way. She always leaves enough so that they can grow back.
Saving the world with nature awareness means taking a closer look. Rosa Periwinkle thinks about how she can save water. She calls her friends together and shows them how easy it is to collect rainwater in barrels. Together they bring the water to the herb gardens on the roofs.
Some meadow gnomes simply throw their waste into the bracken. Rosa Immergrün explains why this is not good for the fern meadows. Soon all the children are collecting their rubbish in small baskets and thinking about what they can still use. They make new toys from old wood.
Season in the Neflental: special glamour in summer
It's summer in the Neflental valley. The fern meadows of Immergrün are full of life. Everything is blooming and growing, but the heat sometimes makes it difficult. Saving the world with nature awareness also means creating shade for the animals and helping the plants. Rosa Periwinkle and her friends build little fern roofs for the goats and lay out damp cloths for the chickens.
Saving the world with nature awareness - everyone can help!
The fern meadows of Immergrün are becoming even greener. The animals feel good. The light balls on the Dream Weaver's Path shine brighter. Everyone now knows that saving the world with nature awareness is possible if everyone takes part in everyday life. Whether big or small, everyone can be an environmental hero.
What do we learn from this?
In Neflental, one good deed is enough for nature to flourish again. Every step counts - be courageous, help others and pay attention to what is happening around you. Saving the world with nature awareness is fun and together you can work wonders!
