With gratitude to happiness in the Neflental
In the Neflental valley, the day begins in the violet glade. Early in the morning, the first rays of sunshine flit through the treetops. They hit the ancient statue in the centre of the clearing. The small, purple violets smell sweet, while sun-yellow crocus bloom in between. The moss-covered rock also glows with fresh green leaves. Rosa Periwinkle sits next to the statue on the soft carpet of flowers. She listens to the chirping of the birds and feels the warm sunlight on her face.
The air is cool and fresh on this spring day. A gentle breeze plays with the leaves. Rosa Immergrün is holding a small notebook in her hand. She is thinking: What actually makes me happy today? She looks around the violet glade, traces her finger through the pearl grey moss and writes: "I am grateful for these wonderful flowers." The thought makes her heart light. She smiles and writes down more things that make her happy. Each sentence helps her to focus a little more on the beauty of the Neflental.
The starry meadow - where wishes blossom
In the evening, Rosa Immergrün moves on to the Sternenwiese. The high alpine pasture is lonely, but full of magic. Soon, when it gets dark, the phosphorescent flowers awaken there. They begin to shine like little stars. Their delicate, sparkling light flickers across the soft grass. Even from a distance, the starry meadow looks like a piece of heaven on earth.
Pink periwinkle lies there in the grass and looks upwards. The sky shimmers blue and violet. The colours of the day spread out above her, while the first stars appear next to the flowers. "How beautiful everything is!" she thinks. Then she picks up a small, flat stone from the ground. In her thoughts, she says thank you for the wonderful day in the Neflental, the variety of scents of the violets and the soft glow of the starry meadow.
What gratitude can change
At Neflental, residents often realise that gratitude touches the heart. Those who take their time and pay attention to small things often feel better straight away. Rosa Immergrün notices this too. She gets up from the starry meadow, breathes in the fresh night air and realises: little moments of happiness are everywhere.
On the way back through the violet forest, she thinks about her experiences. The colourful flowers, the warm light and the friendly chirping fill her with joy. Gratitude is like magic - it opens her eyes to happiness, friendship and security. Even if not every day is perfect, there is always something to be grateful for.
Walking through the Neflental valley with gratitude
Every evening, when Rosa Periwinkle crawls into her warm bed, she quietly lists three things she was grateful for today. She knows it makes her heart calm and her sleep particularly gentle. Sometimes she wishes everyone would give it a try. Gratitude is like a little spark that makes every day brighter - it's that simple in Neflental! Try it for yourself!
What do we learn from this?
Happiness often begins with very small moments. Those who are grateful see the miracles in everyday life. The most beautiful experiences grow out of joy and an open, friendly view of the world. In Neflental, but also everywhere else.
