Gratitude makes you strong: discover your superpower secret in the Neflental valley
A summer's day begins in the Neflental valley like something out of a painted dream. The sun is high and bathes the glamour high in golden light. The rivers sparkle as if fairies had scattered sparkling dust. Colourful tents stand everywhere, lanterns glow and the colours dance: sun gold, sapphire blue, coral red and emerald green. This is where the peoples of the Neflen Valley meet for their summer festival.
A special day at the glamour high
Rosa Periwinkle walks between the other children across the bright plateau. She hears the laughter of the Buchians, sees the Flossians playing by the water and discovers a few sparkling Bergsteins that make gemstones glow depending on the sunlight. Everyone is looking forward to the big campfire show in the evening.
Suddenly there is a loud rumbling from the ice rose garden. Roses bloom there even in summer under a layer of clear ice. The leaves shimmer like glass. The people love visiting this cold winter garden because the splendour of the roses brings them hope and joy.
A flower in danger
But today is different. A layer of ice has come loose and one of the most beautiful roses has snapped off. The revellers look sad. Who has the strength to change things? Rosa Periwinkle has an idea: she calls the children together. Together they want to save the rose.
Community makes you strong
The children from Neflental hold hands. They think about their favourite memories at Glanzhoch and how much joy the Eisrosengarten gives them. They each name a moment for which they are truly grateful. The joy and gratitude become like a bond that binds them together. Rosa Immergrün talks about how important gratitude is. She says that gratitude is a real superpower that resides in the heart. Those who are grateful can make others strong.
Suddenly, the ice in the conservatory begins to sparkle gently. The broken blossom moves slightly. A soft glow settles on the rose and it slowly straightens up again. The leaves regain their colour, the ice shines like freshly polished glass. The children cheer and hold hands even tighter.
The power of gratitude
At this moment, everyone in the Neflental realises what strength they have within them. Gratitude has made them as strong as a rock. They didn't need any spells, just their good thoughts and the sharing of fond memories. Even the white elves hover whispering above the children's heads. They clap their hands with joy and send colourful points of light into the shining sky.
In the evening, there is dancing and singing around the campfire. The lanterns rise into the night sky. All over the Neflental, people talk about this day - and how Rosa Periwinkle has shown them that gratitude really is a superpower secret.
What do we learn from this?
