According to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, states spend very little on tobacco prevention campaigns. "Despite huge annual tobacco tax revenues and settlements between states and cigarette manufacturers, the vast majority of states still do not invest the amounts recommended by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)." complain the activists.
