Anyone who owns, operates and maintains an Internet company or a website needs articles. Everyone who has a website knows this. Even those who don't have a website but use the internet frequently know this. Articles quench people's thirst for information and knowledge. Articles also offer many other benefits for the website. The benefits that articles bring are that a website will rank high in search results for keywords and phrases that are relevant to their website. They also attract visitors to your website when they link to your website from another website or newsletter. Articles ensure that customers' trust in your website and your company grows. Many articles are beneficial for both the company and its visitors. If readers like the articles, they will pass them on to their friends, family and colleagues and recommend your website to them, which in turn increases traffic. You will achieve higher sales if your visitors trust and believe in you. Your product or services are much easier to sell when people know that you know what you're doing and what you're talking about. Alright, we've established that articles are very important for a website and for business. Articles are crucial, and to stay in the game, a website absolutely must have an article, it's essential. However, there is a dilemma: not many people like to write articles. Many website owners would rather spend their time doing something else, and unless you're a big business, you don't have the resources to employ a pool of article writers. Plagiarism or copying other people's articles is frowned upon and can easily get you into trouble, or in the worst case scenario, even lead to a hefty fine or jail time.

So what are the other options?

Well, if you hate writing articles and you can't afford to hire people to write for you, then don't. Get free articles. The first place you should look for free articles is the public domain. Here you won't have any problems with copyright infringement and the subsequent penalties and fines if you are caught for plagiarism. Public domain articles are articles that are made freely available to the public. You can do whatever you want with it. You can publish it on your website, call it yours, publish it in a newsletter - it's up to you. However, always remember that you must choose articles that are relevant to your website. The downside of public domain articles is that many of your competitors may also have access to them as they are freely available to everyone. Since every website needs to be original and unique, even if you have the same niche, this could be a problem. You may also need to edit them a bit to place more keywords and keyword phrases to make them better. Another way to get free articles is by allowing other websites that have the same topic as yours to publish articles on your website. This would only serve to complement your existing content because otherwise, all your articles would lead to other websites as these articles contain resource boxes that could link or redirect readers to their website. That's why it's important to have your own articles. You can use them to link your website to other websites as well. But to really feel what a good article means to you, you should go for original articles. There are many article writers who write articles on a part-time or freelance basis and charge minimal fees. You can get good articles with all the keywords and key phrases that you need and that people are searching for. The investment you made for these articles would be worth it because you can use them for all the benefits you can offer. You own the copyright to the articles and can use them however you want. If your articles help you build your business and your website, you will have more articles to write and maybe you won't think about articles anymore.
