AI fusion engines (Glossary)

AI fusion motors are at home in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation and industry and Factory 4.0. They describe modern drive systems that use artificial intelligence to combine different energy sources and control technologies in order to operate machines particularly efficiently and flexibly.

The core of an AI fusion engine is a computer system that is capable of learning. This system decides how the energy - for example electricity, solar energy or hydrogen - is best utilised in order to operate a machine optimally. This allows the engines to automatically recognise which drive is most efficient at which moment and switch between the different types of energy.

An illustrative example would be a modern assembly line in a smart factory. There, an AI fusion motor ensures that robot arms work as energy-efficiently as possible and without stopping - depending on how many products need to be produced at any given time. Over time, the system learns to control the process more and more perfectly, helping companies to save costs and conserve resources.

AI fusion engines are leading the way for the future of industry and enabling more sustainable and intelligent production.
