Resolving conflicts with Rosa Immergrün in Neflental

The time of the harvest fire is dawning in Neflental. The trees are covered in golden leaves, everything is glowing red and chocolate brown. The smell of smoke wafts across the meadows as wood fires burn everywhere. Everyone is preparing for the festival at the big harvest bonfire. There is a good atmosphere between humans and forest creatures, but then suddenly a dispute arises.

Rosa Periwinkle arrives in the clearing and hears the loud voices from afar. The Flossians want to show off their dances by the fire. But the Buchians want to sing a song by the fire first. Both groups are talking at cross purposes. Nobody really listens to the other. The first ones start shoving and it looks like everything is about to go wrong.

Rosa Periwinkle thinks for a moment, then calls out: "Stop! Stop, take a break!" Everyone looks at her in surprise. Rosa Periwinkle approaches the two groups in a friendly manner. She asks the Flossians to explain their wishes. Then she asks the Buchians what is important to them.

Once everyone is talking quietly, everyone realises that both groups just want to show what they can do. They all want to enjoy the Harvest Firelight Festival. The argument had only arisen because nobody had listened. Rosa Periwinkle speaks slowly and calmly. "How about you two do something together around the fire?" she suggests.

The idea inspires many. The Buchians sing their song. The Flossians dance to it. Together they create something new that is much more fun than the quarrel.

The magic of the ice rose garden

After the festival, Rosa Periwinkle and some friends leave the harvest bonfire glade. They walk through the valley. In the north, small flakes are already glistening on the meadows. They reach the ice rose garden. Roses grow there, their blossoms sparkling under a thin layer of crystal-clear ice.

Everyone marvels at the beauty. Rosa Immergrün explains: "The roses only grow when there is peace. The ice protects them, but they continue to bloom underneath." Everyone understands: just as a dispute sometimes freezes and turns cold, friendship can melt the ice again. Those who listen often find a good solution.

How to stop every dispute in Neflental

Sometimes everyone is a bit like at the harvest bonfire festival. Everyone thinks they're right and nobody listens. But Rosa Immergrün has shown how easy it is to stop an argument:

You can say "Stop!" if it gets too loud. You can make sure that everyone is allowed to say what they want. Together, you're sure to find a solution that suits everyone. The magical power of the Neflen valley helps, but you can also end conflicts in everyday life with your heart and mind.

What do we learn from this?

At Neflental, residents celebrate together because they listen to each other. It helps to stay calm and talk when there are arguments. Just like the flowers in the ice rose garden, sometimes beauty is waiting under a cold layer. Take courage - speak kindly, listen and engage with others. Together you can do it!
