With patience to the destination in the Neflental

The day begins gently in the Neflental valley. The blossom watch spreads its mist over the valley floor. Pastel pink and lilac shimmer in the first light. Emerald-green ferns carry heavy dew pearls. Violet and cherry blossoms glow on old, moss-covered trees. At dawn, the mythical creatures quietly awaken. They flit through shimmering cobwebs that glisten pearly white.

Rosa Immergrün stands in the middle of this magical world. She looks out at the mist and takes a deep breath. Today she has a goal. She wants to go up to the Sternenwiese - a high alpine pasture where real wonders bloom at night.

Rosa Immergrün sets off on her way. The path up to the Hochalm is steep and riddled with roots. The fog is still thick. Every step is an effort. The fine cobwebs of the flower guard tickle her arms. A few mythical creatures accompany them for a while, then disappear silently into the mist.

Patience on the way to the starry meadow

After a while, Rosa Periwinkle realises that she is making slower progress than expected. In some places, the dew sticks to her feet like glue. The slope is slippery. She almost slips a few times. She stops briefly and feels frustrated. But she remembers what her friends in the Neflental valley always tell her: "With patience, you'll get there."

She takes another deep breath. She listens to the chirping of a forest bird in the beech trees at the top of the hill. This reassures her and she thinks about the best way forward. She decides to walk slowly and carefully. That way she can place each step safely on the mossy ground.

Time passes. The sun slowly rises over the crystal lake. The fog lifts a little. The flower guard glows even more softly. The path becomes clearer.

With calm and perseverance to the reward

Rosa Immergrün sings a quiet song to herself. It gives her courage. She feels her own thoughts becoming calmer. She watches as a mythical cat leaps nimbly between the roots. She smiles and remains patient. Her gut tells her: "I can do this."

Up above, between the emerald green blades of grass in the starry meadow, her eyes spot the first small lights. It is still daylight, but some of the flowers are already glowing faintly. They dance with the wind. She sits down on the soft ground and waits. The sky is turning purple and blue, just like the violets of the flower guard.

The glowing reward of patience

Night falls. Rosa Periwinkle sees how the phosphorescent starflowers gradually light up a magical light. The meadow is transformed into a starry sky on earth. The spectacle is breathtaking. She is amazed and knows that every step has been worth it.

Suddenly she feels a gentle breeze around her ears. Rosa Periwinkle thinks of the difficult path, the fog and the patient hours. She understands: Those who walk with patience discover great things!

What do we learn from this?

Being patient is sometimes difficult. The road to the goal can be rocky. But if you stay calm and don't give up, you will be rewarded in the end - often with something beautiful that you couldn't have imagined at first. In Neflental, we know that strong hearts grow with every step, even if it is slow.
