Compassion in the Neflental: A special day begins
The morning was fresh and quiet in the Neflental valley. Mist lay like a protective veil over the soft moss in the small veil grove. Beams of light danced between the ferns and coloured the day in misty white, lilac and moss green. A hint of peach sparkled in the sky. It was early summer and the scent of blossom was heavy in the air. At this magical moment, Rosa Periwinkle crept through the tall grass. She had a big plan in her heart.
The Sonnenfedertal is calling
Suddenly, Rosa Periwinkle heard a cheerful chirping. She looked up, knowing that she had now arrived in the Sunfeather Valley. Here, golden-feathered birds sang a song as warm as the sun itself. Small branches swayed in the wind everywhere in the trees. The birds fluttered excitedly. Today they wanted to have a competition together to see who could build the most beautiful nest.
Rosa Periwinkle watched everything from her favourite spot at the edge of the forest. She listened to the chirping and felt her heart soften. She noticed a small bird crouching sadly on a branch. Everyone else had already left. But the little bird remained alone.
When compassion is stronger than any price
Rosa Periwinkle slowly walked closer. She spoke to the little bird and asked very quietly: "Why aren't you singing or building?" The bird trembled slightly and looked down to the ground. "My wings are so tired today," it chirped. "I'm afraid of being laughed at." Rosa Periwinkle sat down next to him. She didn't want anyone to be left out. It made her sad. That's why she was here now, because she felt compassion.
Without thinking, Rosa Periwinkle said: "I'll help you. We'll build the nest together." Rosa Periwinkle and the little bird immediately collected soft moss and lilac-coloured feathers. They giggled as a ray of sunshine shone directly on their noses. Step by step, a special nest was created, a mixture of haze white, lilac and moss green. The little bird stopped shivering. Soon it was singing a soft song that made all the other birds curious.
The heart that changes the world
The golden-feathered birds came and admired the nest. They realised that compassion and friendship are more important than any price. One by one, they brought a gift for the new nest. Together they laughed and celebrated. The winner was not the biggest, but the one who had a heart for others.
As the day drew to a close, the colours in the veil grove glowed even warmer. The mist mingled with the light. The Neflental was filled with joy. Rosa Periwinkle felt how she had made a difference with compassion. Because she wanted to help the little bird, the day was beautiful for everyone. It's so easy for anyone with a heart to change the world.
What do we learn from this?
Compassion is a superpower. Helping others makes the world a kinder place. Do you remember that? You too can show courage and help someone. And sometimes, as Rosa Immergrün shows us, a kind word is enough. This increases happiness for everyone and makes the heart beat a little louder.
