Sustainability at its peak: pink evergreen and the Bernblütenhain
On a summer's day at the height of summer, when the sunlight dances like amber over the meadows, Rosa Immergrün made her way to the Bernblütenhain. The golden-yellow blossoms smelled of honey and summer rain and attracted many visitors. Colourful lanterns floated softly through the air while children and adults played by the river and sat around small campfires. The sky shone sapphire blue and the water of the rivers glistened like liquid glass.
Celebrating together - but how?
The people of Neflental were looking forward to the big summer evening, as the colours and lights made the festival particularly beautiful. Rosa Immergrün helped diligently with the preparations. The valley had to remain clean and friendly so that the animals and plants could also join in the celebrations.
Rosa Immergrün had lots of simple tips that everyone could try out. Not everyone realised that sustainability starts with the little things. So Rosa Immergrün began to tell everyone about her ideas and showed how you can make the world a little better day by day.
Living sustainability - simple tips for everyday life
First, Rosa Immergrün called on everyone not to throw their rubbish on the ground. Everyone set up large baskets for paper, apple peelings and old bread. This enabled everyone to separate and recycle their rubbish properly. The Flossians from Kristallsee collected the rubbish that had ended up in the water. Rosa Immergrün praised the children for being particularly diligent in collecting rubbish and taking care of their surroundings.
Rosa Immergrün suggested that everyone bring their own drinking vessel. That way, nobody had to throw away any cups. The Buchians served fresh berry juice in colourful cups, which were washed up at the end of the day. No one wasted water, as everyone saved a lot of time and water by using a large jug and several cups.
Rosa Immergrün asked her friends not to pick any flowers from the Bernblütenhain. This is the only way that just as many flowers can grow next year and bees and butterflies will remain happy. The valley remained full of life because everyone respected the rules. This made the Bernblütenhain even more beautiful.
Small ways, big impact
Sometimes you think that your own actions are not important. Rosa Immergrün showed that many small things together make a big difference. Together, the guests collected all the leftover lanterns so that no paper was left on the meadows. Even the youngest children helped out. The atmosphere remained cheerful because everyone realised how nice it is when the valley stays clean.
At the campfire in the evening, everyone sang songs together about life in harmony with nature. The golden sun bathed the Bernblütenhain and the riverbanks in coral red and emerald green. The glorious summer gave everyone energy and a lot of joy.
What do we learn from this?
Sustainability starts with each individual. Even small things such as separating waste, reusable drinking vessels and respecting nature help to preserve the world. If many people pay attention to this together, even a big festival in Neflental like the Glanzhoch can be environmentally friendly. Follow the examples from the Neflental, because every little helps!
