With order for a cool life in the Neflental

A new spring day begins in the Neflental valley. Mist gently drifts across the meadows. Rosa Periwinkle wakes up early because she has an important task today. The periwinkle healers have asked Rosa to look for special herbs from the mist garden. Everything grows wildly there, and sometimes it's easy to get lost.

Off to the fog garden!

Rosa pulls her small shoulder bag tighter and sets off. Her feet soon get wet because the misty garden is full of dew. Wisps of mist dance between the rare plants. The scent of mint leaves and lavender fills the air and Rosa takes a deep breath to find peace.

Rosa soon realises that she can't find the herbs just like that. Everything looks similar in the mist, and from her gathering place, everything seems to be a big green jumble. She thinks for a moment and reflects: "It's much easier to find what's important if I keep things organised. I won't lose anything and I'll save time!"

A system for the mist garden

Rosa thinks about the best way to proceed. She starts by looking for a large, glittering stone snail that always lives at the edge of the clearing. Then she decides to group all the plants together first. She puts the blue flowers on a small stone, the fragrant moss in a soft leaf and the bright yellow flowers in an old mushroom cap.

This slowly creates an overview. With each step, her basket becomes clearer and tidier. It's even fun, and Rosa hums a soft tune. Because she likes the order so much, she later helps a little Flossian friend to organise her own collected herbs in the same way.

The violet glade - the magic of order

After Rosa has found her herbs in the misty garden, her path continues to the hidden violet glade. This clearing is surrounded by trees and colourful violets and crocuses grow on the ground. Everything glistens in violet, sunny yellow, leaf green and pearl grey mist. In the centre stands an ancient statue with a mossy beard.

Rosa places the herbs neatly around the statue. The order in the circle allows her to see exactly which plant she is using for which healing. This teaches her that order not only helps when collecting, but also when all the healers put their treasures together. The sun shines through the treetops and hits the statue's eyes with small rays. It looks as if the statue is winking at Rosa for being so diligent and tidy.

Together, order is fun

On the way home, Rosa meets up with her friends. She shows them how she has organised her collected treasures and everyone is amazed at the colourful picture. "Life is much cooler when it's organised," exclaims one of them, "because we have time to play and party!"

In the evening, Rosa sits by the fire and tells the other children how she mastered the fog garden. Everyone laughs because everything is much easier with a good plan. And so they all decide to tidy up a bit more tomorrow.

What do we learn from this?

A little order makes life more colourful and cheerful. In the misty garden and in the violet glade, Rosa has discovered that it's easier to find what you're looking for. And tidying up together is actually really fun. If you have a good overview, you can finish much quicker later - and then there is more time to discover, laugh and meet friends.
