The plan for a champion

Rosa heard about the stories from Neflental from an early age. Everyone talks about how important it is to be proud of your own achievements. And everyone says that anyone can become a champion of success if they believe in themselves. That's why Rosa has made a plan: She wants to make her way to the Crystal Gate on her own - a naturally grown arch made of sparkling quartz. This gate looks like an entrance to another world. Many people from the Neflental speak of the Crystal Gate with shining eyes. But not everyone dares to go there. The path is long and sometimes a little scary.

The journey through the Neflental

Rosa leaves her cosy home in the early morning. The treetops protect the small path and the dew glistens on the fern meadows. The sun conjures up golden specks on the forest floor. Rosa meets friendly Buchians on the way. They whisper: "You can do it, Rosa!". That gives her courage. Rosa feels her heart pounding, but she keeps going. She thinks: "I want to be proud of my achievement, no matter how hard it gets."

When Rosa climbs the first slope, she feels strong. But after a while, the path becomes steep and the mist from the mountains rolls in. Rosa trembles a little, but she doesn't give up. She takes a deep breath and says to herself: "Pride in achievement means that you keep going even when the going gets tough." The colours all around are beautiful. Emerald green ferns, golden light and vermilion mushrooms along the path cheer her up again. A gentle breeze makes the blue-grey of the mountains appear even more powerful. The magic crystal gate

Suddenly the crystal gate lies before her! The quartz crystals on the gate sparkle as if a thousand suns are dancing inside. Rosa is amazed. She carefully touches one of the stones. At this moment, she feels a pride of achievement shining in her heart. She now realises that she has made it through her own efforts. She has become a champion of success through courage and perseverance. A light suddenly appears between the quartz crystals. It leads Rosa to a special clearing, the Time Mirror Glade. Mirrors float in the air there.

Rosa stands on the time mirror and looks in the mirror. She sees a different season in each mirror. She recognises herself at her first attempt in spring, her courageous step in summer, her perseverance in autumn and her jubilation in winter. All the colours - emerald, gold, vermilion and blue-grey - dance together.
