Red teaming for AI is particularly at home in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybercrime and cybersecurity as well as digital transformation. This is a method in which special teams - known as "red teams" - deliberately attack artificial intelligence and search for vulnerabilities before criminals can do so.

Imagine your company uses AI-based software for customer service. A Red Team is now testing whether malicious users can deceive the AI or cause it to give unwanted responses. The aim is to detect security vulnerabilities at an early stage, minimise risks and make the systems more resilient.

Red Teaming for AI therefore works like a kind of controlled stress test. Experts slip into the role of attackers to test AI systems from all angles. This ensures, for example, that sensitive data remains protected and that the AI does not make any wrong decisions.

Companies benefit from this because it prevents costly errors, reputational damage or data loss. Red Teaming for AI is therefore a central component of modern IT security and promotes the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
