Reliability at Crystal Lake: On time like the Flossians in the twilight run
The inhabitants of Neflental experience many magical moments. Especially at the crystal lake, where the water is as smooth as glass and the stars are reflected in it at night, the strangest stories take place. The Flossians live in elaborately woven pile dwellings. These water gnomes love mosaics made of shells and pearls. They use them to tell of the wonders of the deep.
One day, the twilight run announced itself. This is a time when everything in the Neflental changes. The trees bend with the wind in a purple-pink haze. Mist drifts over the land and the mirrors that seem to float above the lake show all four seasons at once. If you look closely, you can see shadowy figures. They carry their dreams before them like little balls of light. At this special time, every minute counts, because the twilight run doesn't last long.
An important mission at Crystal Lake
That morning, Rosa Periwinkle skipped excitedly across the damp leaves and fern meadows, straight to the shore of the crystal lake. It was her job to get to the Flossians on time. Today they needed help with the big run of lights across the water. Only if all the inhabitants of the valley worked together in time could they start the magical boat procession.
The twilight run allowed no delay. Everything in the valley had to work like clockwork. And because reliability was so important, the eldest of the Flossians relied on Rosa's punctuality. The little periwinkle had often been known for her loyalty.
The path through the surreal landscape
On her way, Rosa noticed how the mist enveloped everything. The ground glistened silver-grey. Purple shadows danced around her and the air smelled of damp moss. The mirrors on the shore showed sunshine, rain and sometimes even snow - all at the same time. Some Flossians hurried past, their strings of water pearls tinkling softly and balls of light flickering on their hips. But no one lost track of time, because the twilight run only shines for a short time.
Reliability with the Flossians
When Rosa arrived at the Flossian pile dwellings, the small boats were already waiting in the twilight glow. Each one was decorated with shells, pearls and glittering stones. The Flossians were ready, they firmly believed that everything would succeed - only together, only on time.
Rosa helped decorate the last boats while the first stars appeared on the horizon. She organised the shells with a practised hand and told the children a story about the last twilight run. The Flossians smiled. They knew how important reliability was for a successful party. If everyone turned up on time, the boats shone particularly brightly.
The big event at Crystal Lake
When everything was ready, the Flossians and Rosa got into the boats. The mirrors on the water shimmered in pink, purple and silver. Suddenly, the train of lights began to glide. Lamps made of coloured glass shone everywhere. The boats glided smoothly across the still water, on time and in perfect order. The reliability of everyone involved was particularly important now. Only then could the lights unfold their full power.
The crystal lake reflected the colourful picture like a glass dream. The Flossians sang songs in praise of the water spirits. Rosa listened as the boat lanterns flitted across the water like dancing fireflies. Every visitor on the shore marvelled at the harmonious togetherness. In the end, everyone returned on time. And so the festival shone in their hearts for a long time - as brightly as reliability in the twilight run.
What do we learn from this?
Those who are punctual and reliable make celebrations something special. At Kristallsee, everyone works together to turn small lights into a big, bright celebration. This only works because everyone can rely on each other. Being punctual is important, just as the Flossians show during the twilight run. Everyone can experience reliability and pass it on - day after day in the Neflental.
