Why reliability counts in the Neflental
In the Neflental valley, the day began pale and cool. The flower watch crept quietly across the valley. Mist crept over the emerald green meadows like cotton wool. Pastel pink cherry blossoms and fine, purple violets awoke on ancient, mossy trees. Tiny dewdrops glistened on the cobwebs. Everything looked as if someone had sprinkled stardust over the land. In the background, shadowy mythical creatures moved slowly through the lilac light of the morning.
The call to the Silbermoos grove
Rosa Immergrün stood at the edge of the Silbermoos grove. The long willow branches hung there like curtains in the clear water. The ground was full of shiny silver moss that sparkled in the first moonlight. Small moss nymphs flitted silently and swiftly between the gnarled roots. There was something important to do here today!
In the Neflental valley, the inhabitants of the fern meadows, forests and lakes always needed someone they could rely on. It was particularly important to have someone who could be relied on to help during the flower watch. This was precisely why the elder had asked Rosa Periwinkle for a big favour the night before.
The moss nymphs had to find a rare star mushroom that only bloomed for a few hours. And they were afraid of accidentally taking the wrong path. Without help, they could get lost and the magical flower would disappear again at dawn! But Rosa Periwinkle promised: "I'll show you the way! I'll be at the Silvermoss Grove by sunrise."
Keeping promises makes you strong
Rosa Periwinkle woke up before the first ray of light. It was very quiet outside, only the soft whisper of leaves in the wind could be heard from time to time. Many people might have snuggled up in the soft ferns again. But Rosa Periwinkle jumped up cheerfully. The promise was important! The moss nymphs were counting on someone coming.
Soon Rosa Periwinkle was standing by the water. The moss nymphs waited anxiously. "You're really here!" cried the smallest one in surprise. "You promised," replied Rosa Periwinkle with a smile. Together they crept off: past bright flowering bushes, under silver willow branches, deeper and deeper into the grove.
The silver moss sparkled on the ground. The star mushroom, the target of their search, was growing on a particularly old root. The moss nymphs let out little flutes of joy because they had found what they needed in time thanks to Rosa Periwinkle.
Reliability unites the friends in the Neflental
Because Rosa Periwinkle kept her promise, the moss nymphs immediately trusted her. So everyone knew: in Neflental, people help each other when they are needed. The residents talked about it for a long time. They thought reliability was really cool!
In the evening, the silver moss grove glowed in the soft light. The cherry and violet blossoms smelled sweet. Rosa Periwinkle and the moss nymphs sat together and told their story. Everyone now knew: those who are reliable make the valley more beautiful and friendlier.
What do we learn from this?
In Neflental, friends trust each other. Once you say yes, you keep your promise. You are strong when others know: They can count on you! Reliability makes friendships grow. And adventures become even more beautiful and colourful together.
