Respect in the Neflental: an adventure at the bay of water lilies
The morning begins gently in the Neflental valley. The sun rises over the Dragon's Tooth Mountains and bathes everything in a soft light. In spring, when the dew lies like tiny pearls on the fern meadows, the friends experience many adventures here.
A new day at the bay of water lilies
Rosa Periwinkle went with her friends to the water lily cove. The bay lay quietly at the edge of the crystal lake. Large, round lily pads covered the water. White flowers carefully stretched out into the light. Colourful fish swam back and forth beneath them. Dragonflies with glittering wings floated through the warm air.
Everyone was curious and wanted to take a closer look at the new water lily flowers. But as they approached, they realised that someone was there: Lili, the Flossian. She had been resting on a stone for a long time, watching the fish. Nobody wanted to disturb her.
Rosa Periwinkle slowly walked closer and greeted her in a friendly manner. "Good morning, Lili. May I sit with you?" Lili smiled and nodded. Rosa Periwinkle showed that she had respect. She knew that everyone wanted to be alone sometimes. She waited until Lili herself offered to talk about the fish.
What respect means
One by one, more friends gathered at the edge of the water lily bay. They were careful not to be too loud, otherwise the animals would be frightened. The friends remained quiet, spoke calmly and were careful not to crowd anyone. This made everyone feel welcome and safe.
Respect in the Neflental is not only shown in words, but also in behaviour. The friends made room whenever someone new arrived. They listened, waited and never left anyone laughing or alone. Rosa Periwinkle paid extra attention to this today. She knew that respect was important for everyone to feel comfortable.
A visit to the violet glade
As midday approached, someone suggested we go to the violet glade. This clearing was particularly beautiful in spring. The ground was covered with a colourful carpet of purple violets and golden yellow crocuses. In the centre stood a statue, old and covered in moss. The sun's rays made the statue's eyes glow.
At the edge of the violet glade, the friends talked about the day. Rosa Periwinkle reminded the others to walk carefully so as not to crush any flowers. She showed respect for nature and for what grows there. The friends helped each other, looking for a place where they could all sit without destroying the beautiful plants.
They looked at the colours around them together: violet purple, sunny yellow, fresh leaf green and the cool grey of the moss. Everyone said what they liked best. No one was laughed at, everyone listened.
Respect: why it makes life in the Neflental valley more beautiful
In Neflental, it sometimes happens that someone feels unfairly treated. Sometimes someone is overlooked or not asked. But Rosa Periwinkle and her friends do something about it. They listen to each other, speak kindly and help with problems. So everyone feels respected.
Respect here means listening to others, not laughing at anyone and also respecting animals and plants. In this way, everyone can be brave together, have fun and learn something new.
And if someone does get into an argument? Then Rosa Periwinkle talks to everyone calmly. She finds a solution together with the others. That's how they stay friends.
What do we learn from this?
In Neflental, everyone shows respect - for people, animals and plants. You can do that too! Listen, ask questions, be friendly - this makes everyone feel special. Life is more beautiful together, because mutual respect gives courage and joy.
