Justice in Neflental - A story with Rosa Immergrün
The day begins in the Neflental valley as the first rays of sunshine light up the emerald ground. The green grass glitters like gemstones in spring. Rosa Periwinkle runs through the valley with quick steps and feels the cool, damp grass under her feet. She can hear the cheerful laughter of the Buchians who live on the edge of the Emerald Ground from afar.
Today is a special day in Neflental. Because a big festival is being celebrated where all peoples come together. Justice takes centre stage because everyone feels that only together and fairly can there be a good life for all. So everyone sets off for the Frostglanzhain. There, the silvery birch trunks sparkle in the cool light and the hoarfrost glitters like diamonds. The colours merge into silver-white, midnight blue, smoky grey and ice blue. The atmosphere is festive when Rosa Immergrün arrives.
Finding a solution for everyone
Rosa Immergrün quickly realises that today is not just about celebrating. The frost was severe last winter and many supplies have run out. The Flossians have enough fish in the crystal lake, but the Bergsteins have hardly any nuts and roots left. The Buchians ask if they could share some of the rich harvest. But some Flossians would rather keep everything for themselves because they have worked so hard.
Rosa Immergrün listens attentively to both sides and thinks things through. She knows that justice means that everyone gets what they really need. But everyone should also contribute something themselves. In a calm voice, she suggests that the Flossians share fish with the Bergsteins and Buchians. In return, the Bergsteins help build new huts and the Buchians bring sweet berries from the forest.
Justice feels right for everyone
All the children in the valley listen intently. Rosa Immergrün explains: "If we share and look out for each other, it's fair for everyone. Justice makes the Neflental strong and no one is left alone." The white elves nod and smile. They know: Justice brings light into dark days.
Soon everyone is pitching in. The Flossians bring their fish, the Bergsteins help with the building and the Buchians hand out berries. In the Frostglanzhain, they laugh and dance together under the frost-glittering branches. The silver light and the friendly sharing make them forget their worries. The result is a large, colourful community.
Why justice must live in the Neflental
The inhabitants of Smaragdgrund and Frostglanzhain realise that without justice, strife and sadness arise. But even small steps, a kind word or a helping hand can build trust. Rosa Periwinkle sees how every small gesture counts. She knows that there can only be peace in Neflental if there is justice for all. Whether in spring, when the green grass shines, or in winter, when the frost transforms everything - justice holds the valley together.
What do we learn from this?
When we share, listen and are fair, everyone is better off. Justice makes us strong, unites us and brings us joy - just like in Neflental. No one is too small to contribute, and together we are more. That's why justice is important, not just for Rosa Immergrün and her friends, but for all of us.
