Community spirit: Together we are unbeatable!

A sense of community in the shining splendour of the Neflental Valley

In Neflental, summer begins with a special festival. It is the time of the Glanzhoche. The sun is high in the sky. Its rays dance in gold and amber on the meadows and lakes. The world shines in sun gold, sapphire blue, coral red and emerald green. Everywhere, small and large creatures laugh, sing songs and light colourful lanterns. Friends sit around the campfire on the banks of the clear rivers. They tell stories and let the lanterns float into the twilight.

The Bernblütenhain is at the centre of the festival. Golden yellow flowers grow in this grove. Their scent is reminiscent of sweet honey and warm summer rain. Everyone loves going there. Rosa Periwinkle is also walking briskly among the splendidly bright flowers. She is particularly excited today. Because everyone from Neflental has to prepare something nice for the summer festival.

In the Bernblütenhain: Where it all begins

Pink periwinkle looks around the Bernblütenhain. The golden-yellow blossoms stretch up towards the sun. Many friends call out and wave to her. Together they want to build a garland of flowers as long as the grove itself. But the task is difficult. The flower stems are fragile. Nobody can manage the long ribbon on their own. The garland bends and falls to the ground again and again.

Rosa Immergrün gets everyone together. She calls out: "We can only do this if we help together! Everyone can do something." The Periwinkles, the Flossians, the Buchians and even a few Bergsteins immediately join in. They laugh, chatter and think together about how they can gently string the flowers and stretch the ribbon across the grove.

Together we are unbeatable!

Everyone takes on a task. Some carefully pick the most beautiful amber blossoms. Others weave small knots from fern leaves. A couple of friends are straining against the ribbon with all their might to keep it taut. Rosa Immergrün counts the flowers and cheers everyone on. No one has to work alone because everyone is needed.

The sun is still golden in the sky. The evergreens are giggling everywhere and singing a song about friendship. The garland grows longer and longer. It shimmers like a shining river of blossoms over the whole of Bernblütenhain. In the end, it is so magnificent that even the inhabitants of the crystal lake are amazed. A few lanterns are hung in the flower wreath. Their light dances through the night in gold and coral red.

Celebration at the Glanzhoch: A celebration of friends

In the evening, everyone talks about what they have achieved around the campfire. Rosa Periwinkle laughs with her friends from the fern forest, the Flossians from the crystal lake and the elves, who secretly sparkle softly in the light. Everywhere you look, you can feel that Neflental is full of warmth and joy because everyone is working together.

The flower garland connects the whole grove. It is made of very different flowers, leaves and plants. Just as the community is made up of many different friends. Together they are unbeatable. They realise this particularly strongly today.

As shooting stars drift across the valley, Rosa Immergrün and all the children sit hand in hand. Happiness and light fill them. They know: Together you can accomplish even the most difficult tasks and experience the most beautiful summer.

What do we learn from this?

In the Neflental valley, summer at its peak shows how important community is. When everyone helps and supports each other, great things can happen. True friendship makes every task easier. Together, everything shines much brighter. No one is alone. Here, everyone is important and part of the community. This makes every celebration in the Neflental an unforgettable experience.
