Community spirit in the Neflental: a spring adventure
Spring awoke in the Neflental valley with colours such as ivory, May green, sky blue and gold. The morning dew glistened on the leaves while the first rays of sunshine danced across the fern meadows. Rosa Periwinkle ran happily along a small path called the Nightingale Walk. Surrounded by the twittering of nightingales, she savoured the warm scent of spring.
A problem in the Silbermoos grove
In the afternoon, Rosa Immergrün arrived at the Silbermoos grove. Old willows grow there, their branches dipping into the water like green curtains. Silver moss shone everywhere, glistening in the sunlight. Small moss nymphs flitted around between the roots, barely visible. Suddenly Rosa heard a soft sob. Curious, she looked around and discovered a small moss nymph sitting sadly on a stone.
"What's wrong?" asked Rosa Periwinkle kindly. The moss nymph told her that a large branch had fallen into the river. The branch blocked the water so that the silver moss grove almost dried up. The moss nymphs were afraid, because without water they would no longer be able to dance and play.
Together we are unbeatable!
Rosa Periwinkle thought about it. She was too small to move the heavy branch on her own. She ran back to Nachtigallenstieg to get help. On the way, she met her friends, the Buchians, as well as some Flossians and Bergsteins. Rosa hurriedly explained the situation. Everyone felt for the moss nymphs because they knew that together we were unbeatable!
Determined, they ran back to the Silbermoos grove. The Flossians immediately splashed into the water. With their strong arms, they rolled the branch a little to one side. The Buchians pulled together on the branches, and the May green shimmered on their hands. The Bergsteins hammered on the thickest branches with their sturdy stone fists until they gave way. And Rosa Immergrün cheered them all on with cheerful songs.
And and finally the branch moved. A little at first, then more and more. Together, with laughter, cheering and even a bit of magic, they made it. The water gushed over the silver moss again. The nymphs leapt for joy and invited everyone to dance. In the moonlight, the moss now glittered like stardust.
A celebration of community
All the inhabitants of the Neflen valley were now dancing, laughing and singing in the Silbermoos grove. The soft light of the moon hung in the air everywhere and the twittering of nightingales floated between the willow branches. They all felt it: Because they had stuck together, the Silbermoos grove had been saved. Everyone had helped, no matter how small or large they were. It felt wonderful.
What do we learn from this?
Everyone in Neflental now knows that if you tackle problems together and are there for each other, you can do anything. No one is alone. And with friendship, courage and a smile, life is much brighter. Neflental will always be a special place full of joy and solidarity.
