Discover superpowers in your head
Spring shone in all its splendour in the Neflental valley. The colours emerald, moss green, turquoise and bronze shone among the fern meadows and forests. Rosa Periwinkle woke up on a special morning and sensed that a day full of adventure awaited her today. A light breeze carried the scent of fresh rain through the open window. Rosa was determined to learn something new: how to discover her own superpowers in her head and show self-control.
The marble path beckons
After breakfast, Rosa walked along a narrow path that looked like something out of a fairy tale. The marble path shone white and polished in the sunlight. It meandered through the fresh greenery and led to a hidden waterfall. On the way, Rosa heard the gentle rippling of the emerald river, its water sparkling in the light like a liquid gemstone. It was the perfect place to think about superpowers in her head and practise how to control herself.
Wishes, thoughts and feelings
Rosa reached the edge of the sparkling emerald river. So many colours shimmered on the bank that it almost looked like a dream. She sat down on a moss-covered stone and closed her eyes. Many thoughts popped into her head: "I want to run to the waterfall right away! But if I run too fast, I'll miss the beautiful details along the way. If I shout loudly, I might scare away the colourful dragonflies." Rosa felt her heart beating faster because she was so excited. This was the moment when she needed her superpowers in her head.
Making decisions with superpowers in your head
Rosa remembered the words of her friends: "Superpowers in your head help you stay friendly, even when you're angry." She took a deep breath of the cool spring air and quietly counted to ten. With each breath, she became calmer. Instead of running, she decided to walk mindfully. She saw the bronze-coloured leaves dancing across the path and heard the buzzing of the bees.
Because she used her superpowers in her head, she felt stronger. She was proud because she could control herself. She didn't miss a thing and even discovered a small nest in the ferns. The marble path led her safely to the waterfall. The spray glistened and a rainbow stretched across the water. Rosa knew that self-control makes life more colourful.
When everything becomes too much
Sometimes Rosa was sad or impatient. Then she wanted to scream or run away. But she practised activating the superpowers in her head again and again. She imagined how the emerald river would remain calm even if a stone fell into it. Rosa became more confident and courageous with each passing day.
The colours of spring strengthened her heart: emerald and moss green calmed her. Turquoise reminded her of her dreams, while bronze symbolised her strength. Rosa learnt to handle her thoughts, wishes and feelings well. And if she ever made a mistake, she simply treated herself kindly.
What do we learn from this?
Real superpowers in your head grow slowly, but they always help when you need them. Feelings and thoughts are allowed - the important thing is how you deal with them. Self-control makes life in Neflental and everywhere more colourful and cheerful.
