Together in Neflental - team spirit in Smaragdgrund
Spring begins with magic in Neflental: flowers are springing up everywhere and the grass in the Emerald Ground glows such an intense green that children think gemstones are hidden in it. Curiosity hangs in the air on this fresh, friendly morning, because Rosa Periwinkle and her friends have a goal.
A great mystery in the violet glade
The sun paints yellow spots on the purple violet glade. Crocuses and violets cover the ground like a colourful carpet. An old statue covered in moss stands guard in the centre. Its stone eyes shimmer pearl grey when the sun's rays touch them. Rosa Periwinkle looks at her friends. Today they want to solve the mystery of the statue. But no one can do it alone, because the statue has hidden some tricky riddles.
Rosa Periwinkle calls out: "Let's try it together! Only together can we find the key!" The friends nod because they know that team spirit counts. They also know that being together makes them stronger - that's an old promise in Neflental.
Strong bonds between friends
On this day, curiosity and joy guide everyone through the colours of the violet glade. The young Buchians nimbly climb tree branches to find clues on the twigs. The Flossians search for signs among the glittering dewdrops. And one of the Bergsteins digs in the earth for traces of times gone by.
Again and again they discover clues, but the puzzle remains difficult. Because one person alone can never solve everything, they collect their ideas. Rosa Periwinkle listens carefully and asks what everyone is thinking. They combine clever suggestions, laugh when an attempt fails and never give up. This is how they develop the best solution together.
Unbeatable together on the emerald floor
The emerald ground at the edge of the violet glade offers them a sense of security. When someone gets tired, they rest in the soft, green grass. The light plays across their faces, birds sing and the scent of spring fills the air.
As the sun rises over the Neflental, they finally recognise the secret mechanism. Only by joining hands can the stone in the base of the statue be turned. A hidden chamber opens, filled with small, sparkling stones and a message: "Those who start together will reach any goal." The friends cheer, hug each other and laugh with joy. Team spirit brought them to their goal.
What do we learn from this?
In Neflental, it quickly becomes clear that team spirit makes you strong. When everyone listens to each other, when they share courage and no one is left out, no problem is too difficult. Friends like Rosa Immergrün know that no one is unbeatable alone, but together they can do anything.
