Strong & brave in the Neflental: a special morning adventure
A new day begins in the Neflental in the soft light of the Blütenwacht. Mist lies like a delicate veil over the emerald green meadows. The old trees bear cherry and violet blossoms in delicate pastel pink and lilac. Fine cobwebs glisten everywhere in the dew, like silver webs in the morning light. In the background, mythical creatures flit quietly through the thicket. Rosa Periwinkle wakes up in the middle of this enchanted atmosphere.
The air smells sweetly of blossom. Rosa Periwinkle hears the birds chirping close by. Today she wants to try something new. At the other end of the valley lies the blackberry wall. A hill full of densely interwoven, thorny blackberry hedges. In summer, the branches there hang heavy with dark purple fruit that children, birds and foxes all love. But the path there is a little scary. The thorns are sharp and sometimes the wind whispers enchanted songs.
Strong & courageous at the Brombeerwall - The first step
Rosa Periwinkle feels a tingling in her stomach when she decides to go to Bramble Wall. She knows that it takes courage. But she also knows that anyone can be strong and courageous if they believe in themselves. Before she sets off, she takes a deep breath. She remembers her friends in Neflental, who have encouraged her so often. And she smiles, because today she wants to show them that she is strong and courageous.
The morning dew glistens on the leaves as pink periwinkle runs through the fresh grass. Cobwebs shimmer in the pearly white of the early light. Everywhere, the blossoms of the cherry and violet trees stretch towards the sky. When Rosa Periwinkle arrives at the bramble wall, she feels the thorns, but she doesn't let them stop her. She carefully searches for a narrow path between the hedges.
Strong & courageous: small steps make a big difference
The blackberries glisten temptingly. Rosa Immergrün is desperate to pick some. She remembers how a little fox showed her last year that with patience and skill you can easily get hold of the most delicious berries. So Rosa Periwinkle takes a long stick, carefully pushes a few branches aside and bravely squeezes her way through. She pricks herself a little on a blackberry vine, but remains calm. Strong & courageous means not giving up, even when it hurts.
Suddenly Rosa Periwinkle hears a rustling sound. A small bird flutters out of the bushes and sits very close to her. "You're really strong & brave," the bird chirps. Rosa Periwinkle laughs happily. That's how she really feels.
The reward for being strong & courageous
Rosa Periwinkle returns happily with a handful of sweet, dark purple blackberries. She jumps for joy and realises how proud she is of herself. She now realises that being strong and brave doesn't mean not being afraid. It means trying out new things, going your own way and trusting yourself.
Today, Rosa Immergrün will tell the others in the Neflental about her little adventure. She will tell how she gathered her courage despite the thorny hedges and achieved a beautiful goal. And she knows that the more often she acts strongly and courageously, the more her self-confidence grows!
In the Neflental valley, the petals are still covered in fine dewdrops. The mythical creatures flit past and the cheerful laughter of Rosa Immergrün echoes between the cherry and violet trees. And somewhere on the bramble, new berries are already hanging for the next adventure.
