Sustainable Robotics is a term that is particularly at home in the areas of Sustainability and Environment 4.0, Robots, Industry and Factory 4.0. It describes the approach of developing and using robots in such a way that they work in an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient manner. The aim of Sustainable Robotics is to conserve resources, avoid waste and produce in a more environmentally conscious way overall.

An illustrative example: In a modern factory, robots are used to automate work processes. If these robots are made of recyclable materials, consume little energy and are programmed to minimise production waste, they are referred to as sustainable robotics.

The advantage of this is that companies can not only save costs, but also make an important contribution to climate protection. For decision-makers, this means working more efficiently with sustainable robotics solutions and making their own company fit for the future.

Sustainable robotics is therefore an important component of modern, environmentally friendly technologies that helps to harmonise ecological and economic goals.
