Something magical happens every morning in the Neflental valley. The sun sends its first golden rays over the mountains and bathes the fern meadows in warm light. In spring, when the crocuses and violets blossom everywhere, the residents experience very special adventures. Everyone is given an important task here, because team spirit is very important in the Neflental. Nobody has to be alone because everyone sticks together.

Spring in Neflental: colours, scents and anticipation

It's spring in the Neflental valley. The snow is melting and transforming the meadows into a sea of violets, crocuses and fragrant grass. Colourful butterflies flutter through the air and bees happily hum their song. The violet glade glows like a large, colourful carpet of violet, sunny yellow, leaf green and pearl grey. In the centre of the clearing stands an ancient stone statue covered in moss. Every year on a special day in spring, when the first rays of sunshine touch the statue in the morning, a special event awaits everyone.

The mystery of the Shadow Gate

Rosa Periwinkle meets up with her friends in the violet glade that morning. There's that whisper again: "Only together can you bring the light through the Shadow Gate." Everyone wonders what that means. The Shadow Gate is an impressive black basalt arch, mysterious and huge, as if it had been built by a giant. It is usually dark here. Only very early in the morning does the rising sun cast a single golden ray right through the Shadow Gate. Then a bright trail runs across the ground.

Everyone needs a lot of team spirit today. Rosa Periwinkle and his friends want to find out why the ray of light sometimes fails to make its way to the statue. But the path of light is long and full of obstacles.

Team spirit makes you strong: everything is better together

Rosa periwinkle has many friends. One can jump particularly high, another climbs nimbly over tree trunks, yet another knows every plant in the meadows. Each member of the team has their own skill, but they all know that they need to work together: The adventure will only succeed if they work together.

The beam of light almost slips off the path because a branch is lying on the ground. Rosa Periwinkle calls her friends together. One of them pushes the branch aside, another shakes the leaves away. Together they help to keep the golden ray on track. The light reaches the statue at just the right moment and makes its eyes light up. Suddenly the statue glows with colour - violet, sunshine yellow, leaf green and pearl grey light up the violet glade.

All residents of the Neflental realise this: Those who work together can achieve much more. One person alone could never have carried the branch, but the team of friends mastered the adventure. Everyone in the team counts, whether big, small, strong or clever. At the end of the day, Rosa Periwinkle and her friends sit happily together. The light dances across the meadows. They laugh, talk about their adventure and are happy that everyone was able to help. Everyone in Neflental now knows that team spirit is unbeatable - together you can do anything.
