More power in life: Taking responsibility in everyday life

The mists of the Blossom Watch were still thick over the ground of the Neflen Valley when the day awoke. It was a very special morning: fine cobwebs sparkled everywhere in the cool dew and the air smelled sweetly of violets in bloom and fresh cherry blossom. The moss-covered trees were a pastel pink, lilac and emerald green colour. Delicate mythical creatures flashed out from between the branches, curiously stretching their wings and flitting quietly through the mist.

The problem with the sleeping tree

In this peaceful atmosphere, Rosa Periwinkle toddled out of her home into the fern meadows. She really wanted to pick some berries today, but suddenly she stopped. A mighty, ancient cherry tree had fallen over in the night. Its thick branches blocked the path that led to the mysterious foxlight caves. Rosa heard the sound of wailing from behind the tree.

Rosa realised that some Flossians were stuck at the other end of the path, unable to return to the village. And today of all days, when the Neflental was due for a big clean-up! All the peoples had to help out to make the flower guard shine in a particularly festive way.

Some residents sighed: "Someone else should take care of it!" One periwinkle neighbour chuckled: "Maybe the problem will solve itself?" But Rosa Periwinkle thought: more power in life means taking responsibility - even if it seems difficult.

Show decision and responsibility

Rosa Periwinkle took a deep breath and decided to take action. So she got a few friends to help her and together they pushed and pulled on the heavy branches. They used ropes made from cobwebs that they found between the pastel trees and tied everything together tightly. This is how they gathered their strength - one by one they helped.

Rosa shouted: "Together we can do it!" The mythical creatures marvelled at her courage. Everyone worked together until the path was finally cleared. This allowed the Flossians to get back to the village to help with the preparations.

Rosa's way to the Foxlight Caves

As thanks for her efforts, the Flossians invited Rosa to the Foxlight Caves. These caves are a magical place. The floors are soft and mossy, and small, glowing mushrooms grow on the walls. In the dark, they look like tiny campfires. A soft flickering light bathes everyone in a cosy, warm glow.

Rosa and her friends sat together, shared sweet berries and told stories. Everyone agreed: it feels good to take responsibility! Everyone in Neflental can contribute to keeping everyone happy and safe.

What can children learn in the Neflental?

There are often problems in life that seem big and difficult at first. But if we tackle them together and are courageous, we grow inwardly. Those who take responsibility have more power in life. The Neflental shows: Cohesion helps us to overcome even the most difficult tasks. And sometimes a shining adventure awaits at the end, as in the Fuchslicht caves.

What do we learn from this?

Those who take responsibility discover their own strength. More power in life means not giving up and looking for solutions together. This not only gives you courage, but also brings joy and friendship. Just as Rosa Immergrün is there for others in the Neflental, you too can show responsibility in everyday life and help others.
