Why forgiveness makes you strong - and how you can learn it!
In Neflental, every glorious high begins with radiant light. The sky glows gold and sapphire blue. Sparks of light dance above the grasses and small lakes as if they were tiny stars. Rosa Periwinkle walks along a babbling river. She can feel the warm amber rain tickling her feet. The air tastes of summer and honey. It is a day when anything seems possible. But today, Rosa Periwinkle's heart still feels heavy.
A problem in the Bernblütenhain
At the edge of the glittering crystal lake lies the Bernblütenhain. Blossoms grow there in sun-gold. Their fragrance is reminiscent of sweet summer rain. The friends of Rosa Immergrün have gathered here for a colourful festival. Lanterns float above the water. Colourful garlands flutter gently in the wind. The revellers sit on the shore. They laugh and tell stories.
But Rosa Periwinkle has a quarrel with a friend. A misunderstanding has clouded her joy. Her friend unintentionally hurt her. The words were like thorns in her heart. Rosa Periwinkle can't quite forget the sorrow. She asks herself: Why does forgiveness sometimes hurt so much?
The power of forgiveness in Neflental
Pink periwinkle strolls along the edge of the Bernblütenhain. The golden yellow flowers sway in the wind. She watches as a colourful butterfly lands on a flower. Suddenly her friend sits down next to her. Both are silent at first. The sun glistens on the water. The light dances on their faces.
After a while, Rosa Periwinkle takes a deep breath and says quietly: "I was sad. But actually, I'd rather laugh with you again." Her friend nods and whispers: "I'm sorry. I didn't realise how much my words had hurt you."
Rosa Periwinkle smiles. She realises that her heart is getting lighter. Just at that moment, a breath of honey and summer rain blows through the grove. All the flowers seem to shine brighter. She feels how good it is to let go and forgive.
How you can learn forgiveness
In Neflental, forgiveness is reminiscent of a warm summer rain. When you forgive, new strength grows within you. You are not weak when you forgive. You free your heart. You can laugh and feel joy again. Sometimes forgiveness is not easy. But if you dare to do it, you will become stronger, braver and happier.
Rosa Periwinkle learns that everyone can make mistakes. And that it is courageous to forgive - no matter how big or small the quarrel was. Because just as the flowers in the Neflental valley bloom even more beautifully after the rain, a friendship also becomes stronger after forgiveness. It can then grow again, shine and bring joy.
Celebrating together after forgiveness
Rosa Periwinkle and her friend sit side by side again at the campfire in the Bernblütenhain. They shake hands and laugh. The lanterns float above them. Life dances around them in sun gold, sapphire blue and coral red. The music sounds softly through the night. Forgiveness has brought their hearts back together. They feel happiness and sense how strong they really are.
What do we learn from this?
Forgiveness doesn't make you weak, it makes you strong. You can choose to do this every day. Even if it sometimes takes courage. When you forgive, your heart grows. Then friendships can heal again - just as everything shines anew in the Neflental after the rain.
