Impact-oriented governance is particularly at home in the areas of digital transformation, sustainability and environment 4.0 as well as HR work and teams. The term describes a modern form of management and leadership in companies or organisations that focuses not only on processes and rules, but above all on actual results and effects.

So instead of just focussing on getting certain tasks done, impact-oriented governance asks: "What are we actually achieving? Is it really improving our goals or people's lives?" This approach helps organisations to adapt their strategies in a more targeted way and to make changes more effective.

An illustrative example: A company wants to reduce its CO2 emissions. With impact-orientated governance, not only are measures such as saving paper decided on, but it is also closely examined whether the steps taken really do lead to the desired reduction. Only measures with a measurable, positive impact are implemented with greater vigour.

In this way, impact-oriented governance ensures that digital transformation and sustainable development do not remain empty buzzwords, but bring real, measurable progress.
