There are many people who dread having to write essays or articles. Many simply feel that it's too much work and it's all for nothing if no one reads the article. Even reading articles seems like work to some people, especially if the article is boring and bland. Well, articles are meant to be read, that's their purpose, to get your message and information across.

If it is not read, it is a waste of time and effort. But articles still need to be written to be read. It's just a matter of doing it well. Writing a good article doesn't have to be exhausting and tedious. There are just some points you need to remember and some instructions you should follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles can not only be fun, but also profitable for you and your website.

Of course, writing articles has to be about something you know something about. So if you have a website, you probably know about a certain topic. If you write about it, it won't be difficult for you because you already know what it's about and what it's all about. It's just a matter of making your articles creative and interesting. To make sure your articles are read and liked, here are six hot tips to get your articles read.

These tips make your articles worth reading and interesting.

1) Use short paragraphs.

If the paragraphs are very long, the words will get mixed up in the reader's head just by looking at them. The reader will quickly ignore the paragraph and move on to easier-to-read articles that are both beautiful to look at and easy to read. Paragraphs can consist of a single sentence, sometimes even a single word!

2) Use numbers or bullet points.

As each point is emphasised, numbers and bullet points can ensure that you can easily remember and digest the point. If each point, tip, guide or method begins with a bullet or full stop, readers will know that the tips begin and are emphasised at that point. Format your bullets and numbers with indents so your4 article doesn't look like a single block of square paragraphs. Add a little flair and pizzazz to your article.

3) Use subheadings to divide your paragraphs on the page.

In this way, the individual points are divided into sections but still integrated into an entire article. It would also be easy for the reader to move from one point to another; the transition would be smooth and easy. This way you never lose the reader's attention or the sense and direction of the article.

4) Enter an attention-grabbing title or headline.

If your title can pique the reader's curiosity, you're halfway to getting them to read your article. Use statements and questions that utilise keywords that people are searching for. Provide titles or headings that describe the content of your article, but should also be short and concise. Use titles like "Tips on how to make her want you more" or "How to make her swoon and blush" or "Make her yours in six easy steps". These types of titles appeal to a person's emotions and pique their interest.

5) Capture interest from start to finish.

From the very first paragraph, use real-life situations that the reader can relate to. Use good descriptions and metaphors to make your point, but don't overdo it. If you provide your examples with vivid metaphors and similes, the reader can easily visualise what you are talking about. This makes the experience enjoyable and entertaining for the reader.

6) If necessary, use numbers and not just common and bland statements.

Using concrete facts and figures can add value to your article as it makes it more meaningful. But don't make it too formal, it should be light and easy and flow. Like a friendly teacher chatting to an eager pupil.
