Content is still king in article marketing

From the beginning you have been told that "content is king", but there are so many website owners trying to win the battles for the search engines by ignoring the rules and trying to be "clever". They use software and tools to trick the search engines into indexing their sites highly, but only to find out a month later that their sites have been banned. Don't get me wrong! There are actually some reputable tools out there that can help you rank your websites higher. People pay a hundred dollars or more just to have them. That's fine as long as it works and doesn't violate the criteria that search engines look for on a website. But why do they do that? For one obvious reason, I suppose - to get as much traffic to their websites as possible, which in turn leads to more revenue for the website owners. And then there are the really smart marketers who play by the "Content Is King" rules and win the search engine games day after day. These marketers use words to generate traffic. With a single 500-word article, they can create hundreds of backlinks to their websites over time - resulting in more web traffic, more sales and more profit. Then they write another article, and more. That's right - we call them article marketers. You can see their names when you search for a keyword and their articles come up on the main search engine page. You click on the links and their articles show up. And now I'll let you in on a little secret. These marketers don't write these articles and only publish them on their websites. Firstly, they write these articles while allowing others to reprint them for free. This allows you to forward these articles to other people and they in turn can forward them to more people, provided the content of the articles is not changed or modified. In short, these articles go viral. Secondly, they submit these articles to various article directories and online publishers to get maximum exposure. The more publishers they can find, the more people they can reach. And the more sales they can make. Think about it. If the pros are doing it and getting tonnes of visitors and sales, then you too can have the same privilege - if only you follow their steps. Wouldn't you like to generate sales without paying a single red cent? If the answer is a resounding 'yes', then you should seriously consider article marketing.
