Marketing automation is primarily at home in the areas of iROI digital marketing, digital transformation, eCommerce and digital commerce. The term describes the use of software to perform recurring marketing tasks automatically. The aim is to save time and make marketing measures more effective.

Marketing automation can be used to automatically send emails, schedule social media posts or send targeted offers to different customer groups, for example. This allows companies to personalise every contact with customers without having to do everything manually.

A typical example: an online shop uses marketing automation to automatically send new customers a welcome email with a voucher after registration. At the same time, customers who have filled a shopping basket but not made a purchase receive a reminder by email after a few days. These processes run automatically in the background and increase the chance of a successful sale.

Marketing automation enables even small teams to utilise large amounts of data and tailor marketing campaigns precisely to individual target groups. This means less time is spent on routine tasks and more time is gained for creative strategies.
